World Chocolate Day Vegan Brownies


Its World Chocolate Day everyone get excited! There is nothing I love more in the world than chocolate, whenever I need cheering up it is always there for me and never fails to make me feel better.Β  Chocolate can be enjoyed by everyone one, even those of us who cant eat dairy. These brownies are delicious and completely vegan using only natural plant based ingredients so they can be enjoyed guilt free. I hope you love these as much as I do, and Happy World Chocolate Day!!

What you will need:

  • 50g vegan dark chocolate
  • 3 tbsp Sweet Freedom Vegan chocolate sauce.
  • 3tbps coconut flour
  • 75g self raising flour
  • 25g coconut sugar
  • 4tbsp coconut milk
  • 25g raisins
  • Icing sugar for dusting


  1. pre heat oven to 180c
  2. prepare a small brownie tin.
  3. Melt Chocolate ( you can do this over steaming water or I always just do mine in the microwave and check it at regular 10 second intervals).
  4. Stir into the chocolate the coconut flour and raisins
  5. Mix together the sugar and self raising flour in a separate bowl.
  6. add coconut milk and chocolate sauce to the chocolate mix and stir together.
  7. Mix in the sugar and flour and add more milk if needed, keeping the mixture relatively dry.
  8. Spoon your mixture into the tin and spread evenly.
  9. Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until the top browns nicely and begins to crack.
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  11. cut into 9 squares and dust with icing sugar. They are lovely enjoyed with vegan ice cream and cherries as an indulgent dessert.
